UML-Design pattern: This was an external training program conducted by Seed Infotech on March 27 and 28, 2010 and April 03 and 04, 2010. The aim of this training program was to improve the team members’ skills in analyzing, designing, and developing applications by using the object oriented programming approach in order to increase the scalability and reusability of applications.
PMP: This training program was conducted in the year 2008 and 2010. The objective of this training was to keep selected associates abreast of the latest happenings in the world of project management and train them in the basics of project management before they actually start managing their respective projects.
Process Training: One of the goals of CCI is to improve various processes within the organization in order to achieve CMMI Maturity Level 2. This will help deliver quality projects on time within the approved budget and make the software development process more predictable. To pursue this goal, processes for CMMI Maturity Level 2 were defined during 2009.
To achieve this, a training program was conducted since April 2009 to train our Project Leads, Team Leads, and senior members of our project teams. The CMMI Maturity Level 2 training for the first group was completed in September 2009. The training for other team members was started in September 2009.
Informix®: This is an internal training program that is being conducted in sessions by the IRIS team. The training program started in May 2010 and will go on till December 2010. It will cover all technical and business aspects of Informix® implementation at Cross Country Healthcare.
